Such microspheres are obtained, among others, during hard coal combustion, where they constitute one of the fly ash fractions.<\/p><p>Microspheres offered by EEX are packed in :<\/p><ul><li>in big bags of 500 kg<\/li><li>in 20 kg paper bags<\/li><li>in bulk (silo)<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-4b431f7 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"4b431f7\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-c2e8e03\" data-id=\"c2e8e03\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-668017d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"668017d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>EEX's commercial offering includes two types of ceramic microsphere:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Grey microsphere<\/strong>\u00a0, which is the most commonly used type of microsphere, used for a wide variety of applications such as a light component in concrete, resins, plastics, paints, coatings, bricks, rubber, films and fillers. Gray microspheres are usually used where color is not important and where special technical-technological parameters, such as high temperature resistance, are not required.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>White microsphere<\/strong>\u00a0valued by the market both for its color and other properties than gray microsphere, including higher resistance to high temperatures. Hence white microsphere is used in advanced technological processes.<\/li><\/ul><p>Both types of microspheres, grey and white, are offered by the Company both as part of the standard commercial offer and as part of customized offer, where physical and chemical parameters of microspheres are adjusted to individual customer requirements.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div parameters, to the individual needs of a specific customer;<\/li><li>development of white microsphere sales at mass level (i.e. in relatively large unit batches).<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>PROPERTIES OF MICROSPHERES<\/strong><\/p><p>Microspheres are characterized by unique physical and chemical properties, which make it a versatile material. This means that microspheres do not require large amounts of binder. This means that products made with microsphere are lighter in weight compared to others.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t                <li class=\"eael-feature-list-item elementor-repeater-item-fe96b93\">\n                    \n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"eael-feature-list-icon-box\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"eael-feature-list-icon-inner\">\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"eael-feature-list-icon fl-icon-2\">\n\n\t\t<i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"fas fa-check\"><\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"eael-feature-list-content-box\">\n                            <h2 class=\"eael-feature-list-title\">Low oil absorption <\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"eael-feature-list-content\">The microsphere has very low oil absorption (in the region of 16g per 100g); this low absorption is due to the shape that the microspheres have and their smooth surface; this allows the formulation of binders with lower viscosity levels.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t                <li class=\"eael-feature-list-item elementor-repeater-item-36b1d64\">\n                    \n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"eael-feature-list-icon-box\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"eael-feature-list-icon-inner\">\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"eael-feature-list-icon fl-icon-3\">\n\n\t\t<i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"fas fa-check\"><\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"eael-feature-list-content-box\">\n                            <h2 class=\"eael-feature-list-title\">Hardness<\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"eael-feature-list-content\">The microsphere is 5-6 on the Mohs scale, so the products produced have high erosion resistance and maintain their unchanged coating.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t                <li class=\"eael-feature-list-item elementor-repeater-item-70ff517\">\n                    \n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"eael-feature-list-icon-box\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"eael-feature-list-icon-inner\">\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"eael-feature-list-icon fl-icon-4\">\n\n\t\t<i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"fas fa-check\"><\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"eael-feature-list-content-box\">\n                            <h2 class=\"eael-feature-list-title\">High melting point<\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"eael-feature-list-content\">Microsphere melts at temperatures of 1200-1600 degrees Celsius.
